1 Peter STudy Group

The Book of 1 Peter

Sundays 6:30 pm starting May 24th

This 7-week study is open to anyone wanting to live out Christian beliefs in a changing world.

Peter writes to Christians learning to live their faith in a whole new world. He wants them, and us, to see incredible opposition as incredible opportunity to live their faith and to show the difference that Jesus makes. In this study, Kyle Idleman walks through the short letter and unpacks the importance of our witness in this world.

Our time together will be casual yet constructive, including a video, discussion, and prayer.

BIBLE STUDY WITH PASTOR BONNIE

WEDNESDAYS 6:45-7:45 PM STARTING MAY 13

Join Patrick for a deeper study in the book of James. We'll look at the cultural context of the book, how it affects James' teaching and what that means for our lives today. We'll dig out the meaning of some of the original language James uses so we can grasp the struggles of the early church. Time will be given for questions and participation. No homework is necessary. A short group prayer time will end each study with participation being optional.

Class is Online via Zoom, CLICK HERE to sign up. Information will be sent prior to first meeting.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

THURSDAYS 2:00 pm or 7:30 pm, STARTING MAY 21

Does the uncertainty and chaos of life keep you up at night?

Is irrational worry your constant companion?

Could you use some calm?

If the answer is yes, you are not alone. Stop letting anxiety rule the day. Join in on the journey to true freedom and experience more joy, clarity, physical renewal, and contentment by the power of the Holy Spirit. Anxiety comes with life. But it doesn't have to dominate your life.
