Patrick Bonnie has a passion to teach God's word in a relevant way. Through humor and interesting stories, he teaches people how to apply God's word intheir lives and experience spiritual transformation. Pastor Bonnie has a Masters of Divinity from Trinity International University and has been in full time Christian ministry for over 20 years. Patrick and his wife moved to Pinckney in December of 1988 when he began shepherding Peoples Church. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Patrick enjoys running long distances, watching the Green Bay Packer's football games (as he was born and raised in Wisconsin), and murdering innocent weeds in his lawn!


    Paul’s passion is to see Peoples Church be a healthy Christian community. He heads up our Small Group ministry and church outreach. His genuine love for people motivated him to build a system of community that encourages authenticity, accountability, and service to others. Paul studied theology at The Grand Rapids School of Bible & Music (GRSBM) and has a Bachelors Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University. Paul and his wife live in the Dexter area and have five children. Paul enjoys running (including marathons), hiking, kayaking, and very hot Thai food!


  • mark merna - director of student ministries

    Mark, has a passion for helping students discover and grow in the love of Jesus! As a 2nd generation youth pastor, Mark has been immersed in student ministry from childhood and “just feels at home with students.” He believes God has created him for student ministry, because it’s the only way of life that connects all the eclectic dots of who he is! Mark has an entrepreneurial spirit and has been self employed since the age of 13. His drive to always improve in business and relationships has led him to years of study in personal, and leadership development. Previously he ran a business while volunteering with students whenever possible including various churches and coaching track for 10 years. Mark has been attending Peoples since 2008 and joined our staff in 2016. A lifelong resident of the Pinckney/Hamburg area he now Lives in Hamburg with his wife Jordan, his son Mark III (Tre), daughter Justice, and 2 dogs Rig and Ranger. Mark & Jordan are expecting their 3rd child in early 2019!

  • janet corrigan - administrative assistant

    Janet has a BS Degree and has worked in Administrative Support for many years. Janet started working at Peoples Church in 2007 and finds it rewarding to provide ministry support for the work of the Lord. She is married and has one son. She enjoys cooking, knitting, house renovation, gardening and the family pets.

    Angela has her BS in Business Management. She has many years experience in the business world. She is married and has two children. Angela enjoys cooking, hiking and swimming. She has a dog named Bailey who is a therapy dog. They enjoy going to nursing homes, schools, libraries, and homeless shelters together.

  • Tricia Richardson - DIR. OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

    Tricia joined the staff in the summer of 2016. She has been involved with Peoples ever since bringing the "Turkey Bowl" Thanksgiving event to the church in 2009. She immediately began volunteering in the nursery room, co-leading a Life Group, and later taught in the Children's Ministries "Disciple Town" before stepping into the director position. She has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, was the Director of a local Non-Profit Organization for 6 years, and is excited for this new adventure with the children and families of our church! She lives in Hamburg Township with her husband, Jay, and their 2 kids, where their family is extremely involved in many aspects of the Pinckney community.
